  • August 17th - Keene Valley Library - A Read Aloud of 1984 - Reading will begin at 7 a.m. and continue until about 7 p.m. Please call if you would like to sign up to read for a half hour block. Everyone is invited to come in and listen throughout the day.

  • August 22nd - Plattsburgh Public Library - Visit from Storyteller & writer, Joseph Bruchax. Lively storytelling, song and discussion with award-winning local author and Abenaki culture expert. Book signing to follow presentation. All ages welcome!  Library auditorium.

  • September 9th - Sherman Free Library, Port Henry - Antiques Appraisal Fair - 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Informal, verbal appraisals by independent appraiser, Ted Comstock of Saranac Lake. $5 per item, limit 3 items per visitor.
